7/22/06 - The Truongs and Lams are at the Jarvinens for a poolside BBQ. It's over 100 degrees so jumping into the pool was a great thing to do. The Jarvinens did not even have to heat up their pool and it was already 85 degrees. The kids were so excited. Kyle was all over the place as usual and Emily was getting more brave to jump into the water too. Wesley was fearless and he put his face in the water for almost 10 secs! Katelyn was also very comfortable with the water! Sandra, Grace and Suzanne got to chat in the pool and it was relaxing and cooling for everyone since it was so hot!! After a couple of hours of swimming, Sandra started her BBQ, and boy it was so hot standing in front of the grill! Grace was nice enough to hold an umbrella to block the sun for her. :) It was the hottest BBQ ever for Sandra! Luckily the food turned out good. :) The kids ate at the kids' table and played afterwards so the adults could actually sit down to eat and talk. The guys talked about their video games as always. Then they had fruits and pies brought by Truongs and Lams, and they were so stuffed. The entertainment for the evening was to watch the pictures that Rex took at Kyle's birthday party. It was a fun and relaxing evening for everyone!
